E50 AMG

Mercedes-Benz first E-Class AMG after AMG and Mercedes-Benz have merged. Just 2870 E50 AMG’s have been built in 1996 and 1997. The E50 AMG has the M119 V8 engine which we know from the W124 E500 and the R129 SL. Dual overhead cams, variable valve timing, 4 valves per cylinder, 5 liters and producing 347 horsepower. 

This very car was sold new in Japan and was built on the 20th of June 1996. It came back to Germany in 2016 and had one owner. In 2022 at 33.000 kilometers he had a major, major service done at Mercedes-Benz dealership Reinhard in Pirmasens coming in at €10.234,-. The dealership has mounted new tyres, sparkplugs, oil-change, transmission oil-change, differential oil-change, coolant-flush, brakefluid flush, cleaning electric sunroof sliders, A/C clean and service, wiper blades, battery, front brake rotors + pads, rear brake rotors + pads, new keyfob, brake flex hoses, parking brake shoes replaced, swaybar bushings and two new side mirrors. It’s driven about a 1000 kilometers since.

The condition is excellent. A beautiful body, very straight, perfect panelgaps. A deep shine in the beautiful paint. Clear headlights, beautiful taillights, black trim in excellent condition. Hardly any usermarks.
This example shows no rust. A very clean undercarriage and wheel wells. Correct AMG stamped exhaust, bumpers, sideskirts and brakes. Clean axles and brakelines. Beautiful condition throughout.

The interior remains in nice, supple original and as-new condition. The leather is very supple and really showing just 34.000 kilometers.

The engine-bay of the car is very original. The M119 runs quiet and pulls great. The 5-speed automatic shifts flawless. The car sits on 2022 Continental tyres around it’s beautiful Monoblock wheels. 
The car is a joy to drive! Just 34.000 kilometers and it looks and feels that way. Supple, beautiful leather on the steering wheel and seats. Original AMG floormats, never-used AMG spare-wheel in the minty clean trunk, two keys. Ready to use.
