The Mighty E500

The Mercedes E500 with its wide arches is possibly the Classic Mercedes that even non-carguys like. Such an iconic W124. This E500 was produced on the 15th of November 1994, painted in 744 Brilliant Silver over a 271 Perforated Black Leather interior and destined for the Japanese Market. The car comes with a cold A/C, working Cruisecontrol and working automatic rear sunblind.

This car has been imported from Japan to Germany in 2017 and has received a major service then. Since then it was driven only about 1000 kilometers. It received new tyres, brake rotors and pads for the front and rear. The headlights were changed for European traffic and it received new oil, filters and sparkplugs. We have recently bought this car from a German collection of German sportscars.

The body is beautiful and straight and shows good paint in its factory 744 Brilliant Silver color. The W124’s tend to rust in wetter climates. This example shows none;  The jack points, rear axle mounts, floors, etc are all solid in this solid on this Japanese example. The interior consists of black leather in remains that remains in nice, supple original condition. Also the headliner is clean and perfect, the dash shows no cracks and the wood on the center console is excellent.

The engine-bay of the car is very original. Factory details and tags and the might M119 V8. The engine recently saw an oil-service. It starts up beautiful and runs very smooth and silent. We have recently installed two new ignition caps + rotors. We balanced the wheels and had an alignment performed. It sits on the road beautiful.

The mileage in recent years is documented thanks to Japanese and German inspection rapports. The car runs, drives and feels like an 80.000 kilometer W124 should. The A/C blows cold and everything works. A nice and sorted W124 that can be enjoyed instantly.
