E220 Cabriolet Sportline

Perhaps the most classy convertible of the 90’s? At least the best built and most durable. Finally a Mercedes A124 Convertible at Oldenzaal Classics – and a very good one that is. A lovely ‘Ton sur Ton’ Convertible with the beloved Sportline package. 

On offer is this 1994 E220 in lovely 904 Midnightblue over 262 Blue leather and a 744 Dark blue softtop. Further options are 952 Sportline package, 281 390mm Sports leather steering wheel, 291 Airbag for front passenger, 300 Storage box in front try, 515 Radio MB Classic, 531 Automatic Antenna, 620 Catalytic converter, 653 Sports Chassis with 8-hole Wheels, 866 1995 Modelyear technical modification, 873 Seat heater for front seats, 885 Locking system with Remote control.

Bought new by Mr. Pöhner and first registered on the 5th of July 1994 and since 1999 in the hands of Miss. Ernst. who kept it for a long long time and had it serviced extensively. In 2023 it was sold on Techno Classica, Essen by COG Classics to a gentleman in the Ruhr area. Now it’s available with us.

Genuinely amazing condition and hardly any usermarks. The car is wearing all original paint, measurements among the pictures. Beautiful supple leather, an all original interior, perfect dash, beautiful wood and switchgear. The softtop is in good used condition and opens and closes without any issues.

In May of 2024 it was extensively serviced by Mercedes-Benz Oberhausen. A major service with all fluids, filters, belt, brakehoses, brakefluid, sparkplugs, front suspension bushings, balljoint and rear shocks. The tires are 2023 Hankook Ventus Prime. The rear shocks have been replaced in 2005. 

The deep-blue 904 paint has a deep shine to it, the leather is very supple and beautiful and the car genuinly drives amazing. The wheels are like new, the trunk is clean and complete with tools, spare wheel and jack.
