Low-mileage GTS 6-speed

The Ferrari 355 was produced in Maranello between May of 1994 up to 1999. A mid-engined V8 sports car with an amazing 5-valves-per-cylinder, 8500 rpm, 380 horsepower V8. Available as a GTB (Coupe), GTS (Targa, detacheable roof) and Convertible (spider). This is example is the rarest, most collectable and most sought after example – The 6-speed GTS with only 2048 units produced. This one is completely original, with non-painted roof, as it should be.

A collectable, red 355 GTS 6-speed. Ordered new via Ferrari dealer SA.MO.CAR S.PA in Rome. Sold new to Mr. Ucci from Ardea in the Rome province on the 3rd of April 1996. Ordered as a Ferrari should be, Manual, Rosso Corsa red over a black leather interior. the detachable GTS roof is a great option and makes for even more driving sensation. The car comes with the complete leather wrapper with books and manuals. The car was registered in Italy up to 2016 and serviced Ferrari dealers, both the selling dealer as well as Auto S.E.A. (Ferrari & Maserati dealer). Invoices are present. Mileage is completely documented.

In 2016 the car was imported into the Netherlands by a Ferrari specialist. They have performed a major service in 2016. Since then the car had one Dutch owner. 

Ordered new  in 300 Rosso Corsa over a Black leather interior. It came with engine number 42297 which ofcourse the car still wears – Matching numbers. This 355 GTS is appearing in fantastic condition. Very straight, hardly any usermarks beautiful paint. The interior is all original and consisting of beautiful black leather. The original carpets still deep black. The stitching looks excellent and it does not suffer from sticky buttons. The GTS / Targa roof is in excellent condition and was not painted, as Ferrari meant it. Very fresh, very low-mileage 355 GTS.

The engine bay is very clean and very original. The engine received a major service, more on that below. It shows the original stickers, emblems and tags. The wheels are in mint condition, without any scratches and mounted with fresh Bridgestone Potenza tyres.

In 2023 Oldenzaal Classics has performed a major service. That included having both cylinderheads rebuilt along with new valve guides. This 355 is completely up to date and ready to enjoy.
