M5 Touring

The E34 M5 Touring is a rare beast. Only 891 examples were produced, and it’s the first time BMW produced a Touring version of the M5. This very car is a truly excellent example. Only 3 long time owners, very original and with lots and lots of documentation. 

#BL01015 was sold new via BMW dealer Hans Sagehorn in Lüneburg to Mr. Peter Surek and first registered on the 11th of June 1992. A German car that was always kept in Germany. Ordered in the fantastic color of 276 Avusblau Metallic over a  0318 Black ‘Vollleder’ / Extended leather. Furthermore: Double sliding roof, removable trailer hitch, alarm, roller sunblinds for rear windows, velour floormats, heated seats in the front, airconditioning, Interior light package, Bavaria C Professional radio and the BMW HiFi system.

The original BMW order sheet is present: 152.707 Deutschmarks was the original price. In March of 1995 the 2nd owner bought this car, from the original salesman. Dr. Peters bought his 3 year old M5 for 66.000 Deutschmarks with 49.800 kilometers. The car comes with the original M5 leather pouch, within is the M5 Owner’s Manual, Radio manual, BMW Addressbook and ofcourse the service book. Completely stamped with all services performed. There is a thick binder with all documentation: the original M5 brochure, E34 Touring brochure, Options brochure, countless invoices, countless TüV technical inspections and more.
The car has been in Germany throughout its life. In 2016 the car was bought by its 3rd owner. This gentleman owns a major BMW / Alpina collection and earlier this year we have bought this M5 from him. 
The body is present in a very original and healthy condition. This M5 wears original bodypanels – lids, doors and fenders. Paint measurements are among the pictures, for the most part original. The body is straight, shutlines are perfect. The interior shows all original leather in very nice and supple condition. The original Bavaria radio plays nicely. The dual sunroof works as should. The black headliner is original and in great condition.

We have installed 4 brand new tires. The Self levelling rear shocks have been rebuilt at 209.521 km. The front shocks have been replaced in 2005 with 157.230 kilometers.
Beautiful condition E34 M5 Touring, a no stories car. No Japan import, always been in Germany, genuine 3 owners and always serviced at BMW. Wearing beautiful, mostly original, paint. The service history is very extensive and complete.

We have performed an inspection here in Oldenzaal and have replaced 4 tyres, re-sealed the differential, replaced the gas struts for the front and rear trunk, replaced the fuel pressure regulator, wiper blades, swaybar links and the gaskets behind the doorhandles. It will receive an A/C Charge and we have performed a 4 day detailing with undercarriage, paint correction and interior cleaning.
