Great example of one of the greatest classic convertibles

What a car, what a condition. My favourite color combination: Calypso red over a Beige leather interior. This car was produced on the 9th of March 1990 – the last year to wear the chrome bumpers. The car was sold new in Switzerland and was ordered in a nice spec: Sports suspension, M Sport steering wheel, heated seats, Cassete tape holder, cruise control, Cross-spoke wheels and a black softtop.

Later in life the car had found it’s way into sunny Greece and recently it came to Oldenzaal. The car had seen sitting for a longer time, but we couldnt let this healthy E30 Convertible sit as it was. The car is just so nice, original and correct. 

The body doesnt show any signs of rust or accident damage. The front wings wear their original glue from the factory and haven’t been off. It has the original doors with doorjambs in original paint. The same goes for the rear of the car. Hood and trunklid also belong to the car since day 1. The result is a very straight car with perfect panelgaps. The paint is in fantastic condition, with a deep shine. It shows nice and straight chome bumpers with black mouldings in good condition. Clear headlights, foglights and original orange blinkers. 

The interior looks lovely. Beige carpets and doorpanels in good condition. A nice, crack-free dashboard and the beautiful M-Tech steering wheel. Nice leather seats. A very original interior. The rear doorpanels look excellent as well as the panel over the convertible top. The convertible top has been replaced by a specialist recently. It’s brand new and with a clear window. 

The engine-bay shows very clean and original. It shows the original decals and tags. Also the trunk is nice and clean. The original spare wheel and toolkit and a clean boot floor.

The undercarriage looks excellent and shows the original beige coating on the original floors. Rust-free, original floors and perfect jack-points. Since the car was sitting for a longer time we have done a major service. We’ve gone through the car from A to Z and now it drives lovely. The 2,5 liter straight six sounds heavenly going through the 4-gears with the top open.
