Lovely Convertible Cruiser

A great classic BMW to actually use. Lovely color combo: Diamond Black Metallic over a Beige interior & Beige roof. This is quite an early car, built on the 30th of July 1986 and first registered on the 10th of September 1986. The car was sold new in Germany and was ordered in a nice spec: 181 Diamantschwarz, 0295 Natur Beige Leather Interior and Automatic transmission with Sports/Economy mode.

We have recently bought this Convertible from an elderly gentleman in the North of Germany. The man went to great lenghts in restoring this Convertible. E30 Convertibles are great to own, drive and work on. They offer a great driving experience, are very friendly to maintain and offer lovely E30 80’s BMW looks. 

The car was completely repainted in 2017, a complete glass-out repaint that was done in it’s factory color. After that it was reassembled with a new windshield, new window seals, chrome trim, emblems and more. The wheels were also repainted, fitted with new tyres and emblems.
The interior was beautifully redone as well. The seats, rearseat and doorpanels were reupholstered in beautiful leather. The rest is original: a perfect dash without cracks, original center console and beautiful M-Tech steering wheel in leather. The convertible top was replaced as well. Before putting the top on, the metal frame was repainted – all looking excellent. Icing on the cake is the BMW Bavaria radio.

The engine-bay shows very clean and original. It shows the original decals and tags. Also the trunk is nice and clean. The original spare wheel and toolkit and a clean boot floor.

The car benefits from lots of servicing by the previous owner. He installed completely new brakes all-around. New rotors and pads in the front and rear as well as new hoses and fluid. The exhaust system is new, front to back. On the front axle it has new control arms with new balljoints. It features new fluids, filters and a rebuilt alternator waterpump and new handbrake cables.
