BMW 2000 CS from July 1967 – Almost 55 years old!

This BMW 2000 CS was delivered new in Milan, Italy on July 22nd, 1967. Sold new to Mr. Giuseppe (born 1911) from Milano. Supplied in the color Polaris Silver (color code 060) over a Marine Blue Velours interior.

The BMW 2000 CS is the sporty brother of the 2000C (automatic). This one has the matching numbers 2.0 liter engine. With increased compression and double Solex carburettors – 120 hp and 4-speed manual gearbox.

This is a not an shiny, detailed and serviced car – like our other inventory. This car will need work yet is a very healthy and original survivor. The paint is a bit faded but is mostly original. Not a car that has been apart and repainted many times! It has very good shutlines and shows no excessive bondo. As you can see the engine bay and inner fenders are healthy and original.

The engine runs nice, the gearbox shifts, it steers and brakes. So it’s mobile, but not fully serviced and finished like our other vehicles.

It comes with the original Italian libretto (registration) from 1967! – a very old BMW. With some work one could drive it as it is, with patina. Or it can be restored to perfection.
